Your child is entitled to 15 hours per week (spaces permitting). We also offer 30 hours if you have met the criteria.

2 year olds that qualify for FF2 can have up to 15 hours a week FEE (Free Early Education) for 38 weeks a year term time. This could be a 3 hour am session from 9.00am – 12noon or an afternoon session from 12noon – 3.00pm 5 days a week. Alternatively you could do 2 full days (9.00am – 3.00pm) a week and 1 half a day (9.00am – 12noon) subject to availability.

This pattern of delivery is also the same for 3 & 4 year olds accessing 15 hours of FEE (Free Early Education). Please see above for the costs for additional hours taken beyond 15 FEE.

For 3 & 4 year olds accessing 30 hours of FEE, this can be a 6 hour session from 9.00am – 3.00pm every day of the week term time subject to availability

Any cost incurred as a result of suspension or termination will be paid for by the parent/guardian of the child. Any costs incurred by Top Banana, as a result of arrears such as Legal, Bank or administrative charges, will be refundable in full by the parent/guardian.

Top Banana will apply a minimum charge of £30.00 to be allocated to a child’s fees, for any unauthorised cancellation of a Direct Debit mandate.

Cancellation/Termination

In the event of your child leaving the pre-school, please inform the Manager in writing. A full half terms notice is required.

Infections & Illnesses

Top Banana cannot normally undertake the care of sick children. The nursery must be informed of any child sickness or problems before attempting to bring the child to the premises. Each case can then be considered on a strictly individual basis.

In the interest of other children and staff it will be necessary to exclude any child who has been diagnosed with certain contagious illnesses and diseases. The exclusion will remain in force until the child’s Doctor has cleared the condition. The current lists of illnesses include: chicken pox, mumps, rubella and measles.

As noted above no refund will be given in the event of the child’s exclusion due to illness.
